Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti did his best to spin the Ray Rice fiasco into a positive for the organization.
Bisciotti made it clear that it was Rice’s darkest moment and that he’d never play for the Ravens again. Bisciotti did make it clear though that he didn’t try to blackmail Rice when he exchanged text with Rice after releasing him.
At his press conference on Monday, Bisciotti addressed the idea of trying to pay off Rice.
“If I cut a guy making $6 million a year — if I’m promising him to be by his side and hire him for $100,000 a year five years from now so he can help Harry Swayne in our player development department — if that is considered worthy of him going along, I find that rather absurd because it would take him 250 years to make back the $25 million that I took away from him by cutting him.”
Bisciotti says he forgives Rice, and that the running back could definitely come back and work for him in player personnel down the line.
Could employ Ray in a player development role, but "he won't play for me again." Hmm.

Bisciotti now says he would still be interested in offering Rice a job down the line (not playing) and attorney is forcing Rice to do this.
