Mark Dantonio was less than pleased when Michigan players planted a stake in the turf in Michigan State’s stadium prior to kickoff and he wasn’t shy about speaking about it afterwards. Michigan head coach Brady Hoke has issued an apology for stake planting.
Brady Hoke has issued an apology for the tent-stake business at Michigan State. So much to apologize for this fall in Ann Arbor.

Personally, this is pretty embarrassing for Michigan. You haven’t be very good this year and before the game against your in state rival you run your mouth and plant a stake in their turf before kickoff like you run the joint. That’s why I have no problem with Michigan State punching in a late touchdown to send a message or anything that Dantonio said in the presser, if you are going talk and act that way you better be ready to back it up on the field.
