Richard Sherman will compete against an opponent this weekend, that he actually respects. Sherman speaks highly of Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, and says he’s looking forward to their matchup.
Bryant shares a mutual respect for Sherman as well, telling the media that the outspoken Seahawk was“arguably the best corner in the league.”
“When you go up against a guy like that, you’ve got to be well-prepared. You can’t be going in lollygagging.”
Bryant referenced Sherman’s production in validating his loft status.
“Just check his stats,” Bryant said. “He’s big, he can run. He’s got length. You’ve got to play big. You can’t just think you’re going to go in there and do this, you have to be well-prepared.
“There’s a reason why we’re talking about him. You’ve got to prepare for players like that.”
