San Francisco Giants relief pitcher Hunter Strickland will have some explaining to do.
Here in the video, after giving up a critical 2-run homer, Strickland appears to shout something at Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez as he was rounding the bases:
From the looks of this video it appears Strickland said “get in the dugout BOY!”. If indeed he did call another grown man a boy I can see why the fact the Royals just increased the lead seemed to be secondary to Perez.
Strickland claims he was upset because Salvador said something in spanish to him he couldn’t understand. That doesn’t mean he should call him boy though.
