Starting 1-6 isn’t something New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan envisioned before the season. Being 1-6 is bad enough, but when you compile that with the New England loss on Thursday, it forces Rex to explode.
“It’s been a big failure, obviously,” Ryan said. “The season’s not over, but you don’t want to be 1-6. If you’d ask me, I was thinking we’d be the other way. We expect to win every game.”
With the addition of Percy Harvin, the Jets are hoping to gain a spark.
