There’s no doubt Minnesota is in rebuild mode with all of their young pieces, but they did add a few veteran pieces, like Kevin Martin. Top pick Andrew Wiggins is who everyone will have their eyes on.
Wiggins made his NBA debut last night against the Pacers. He ended up with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks and 1 steal.
Most believe Wiggins has the biggest upside of this rookie class.
It appears Kevin Martin would agree.
“I think Wiggins is filled with Hall of Fame potential,” Martin said. “That’s why he’s been hyped up since he was 16 years old. Now he’s going to be in a situation to put all those tools together.”
Only time will tell if Wiggins lives up to the hype or not.
