The Redskins have a difference of opinion in their Locker room regarding who the starting quarterback should be.
Jay Gruden says the quarterbacks job is up in the air, and all three candidates are in play. RG3 has a totally different outlook.
Griffin III returned to the lineup after missing seven weeks with an ankle injury, and told the media that “the Redskins are his team” and “he’s leading them.”
“I believe that I am. I believe that this organization knows that I am,” he said. “Those guys in the locker room believe that I am. There’s no doubt there. I don’t ever step on the field trying to make a claim saying I’m the guy. It’s not like that. This is my team, and I’m gonna lead it.”
The next several weeks will go a long way in determining if RG3 can make the quarterback position his for good.
