If you aren’t familiar with the case, 12-year-old Tamir Rice was playing with a toy gun in the park. A man calls 911 to report that Rice is waving a gun at people, but he thinks it is a toy. The 911 dispatcher doesn’t tell the cops that it is probably a toy and the cop upon seeing Rice immediately shoots him, refuse to give him medical aid and Rice eventually passes away.
It is another case like Eric Garner, Michael Brown and others that was completely avoidable. The cop who did the shooting was dismissed from another police department because he liked to “play by his own rules”.
LeBron was asked about his thoughts and here is what he had to say.
LeBron on NY, CLE police incidents: "Violence is not the answer, retaliation isn't the solution. As a society, we've just got 2 get better"

I believe LeBron means well and in a rational sane world violence and retaliation shouldn’t be the answer, but is that the type of world we are currently living in?
Everyone just wants to be treated equally and get a fair shake, but it is hard to believe that is a possibility with everything that is going on now.
