With the UFC’s addition of CM Punk and the anticipated departure of Brock Lesnar many people have been wondering who will be the next athlete to make the jump from the WWE to professional sports?
Instead of wondering which fighter trains MMA in their off time or who the WWE will make made enough to leave I rather put together a list of athletes (From all sports) that’d be great in the WWE.
Here’s my top 5 athletes that’d do great as WWE Superstars:
Conor McGregor
“The Notorious” is tailor made for a career in the WWE. His UFC promos are some of the best and his mic skills would immediately be amongst the best in the company. His fight background would also make him a good fighter in the ring which is important to our list. It’d be hard to not see Conor as Mr. Money in the Bank and using the briefcase to constantly put fear into the champion.
