Always difficult to see who is telling the truth in boxing. That is especially the case of Bob Arum who coined the phrase “I was lying yesterday, but today I am telling the truth”. Depending on who you talk to, Mayweather’s deal with Showtime is losing them massive amounts of money or they are doing just fine.
Arum believes the former not the latter.
Arum says Showtime loses 10-12 million each Floyd fight. Cotto will want $13 mill to fight Floyd again, 10 mill more than typical Floydfoe

Arum said Cotto wants at least 13 mill, ten mill more than usual Floyd foe. Floyd can get 32 mill "fighting a busboy." Floyd wants at least.

…an extra 10 mill to fight Cotto, this rematch would do maybe 1.1 million. That means, he thinks Showtime would lose 20 mill on Cotto fite

Bob says Cotto should do it, but economic climate is different. Sequel would do fewer buys, says CBS won't do it and lose money

We will see what happens, a decision will be made sooner or later.
