Derrick Rose may be 1-for-11 from 3 point range (7-of-35 overall) in his last two game but in no way is that going to stop him from shooting.
Rose spoke with the Chicago Tribune about his shoot slump:
“Terrible,” Rose said, when asked to describe [Tuesday] night. But Rose won’t stop shooting. “My confidence to shoot is there,” he said. “All of them were on target. They’re just not falling. I’m not going to stop shooting. If they go under (screens), I’m going to shoot the shot. I work on it enough. I just haven’t seen them go in yet.”
I think post-ACL D. Rose isn’t as good of a late game closer as Jimmy Butler is now but if the Bulls ever want him to return to his MVP form they need to give him the green light on the court. He’s missed so much basketball the past few season the only way to knock the rust off is to shoot through it.
So D. Rose, Get your shots off!
