During the Seattle Seahawks epic comeback victory against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship on Sunday, two of their star defensive players sustained notable injuries. While cornerback Richard Sherman may have nerve damage, as reported by Adam Schefter, Thomas has a dislocated shoulder according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
Thomas missed his first series in his five-year NFL career due to injury in the game and will undergo a MRI this week to ensure no greater damage was done.
Thomas had 5 tackles in the game and plans to return to the Seahawks in two weeks as they prepare to take on the New England Patriots, if he his medically cleared.
