A Delaware woman by the name of Amanda Paoletti decided it was a great idea to rob a convenience store while her 1 year old daughter and friend wait in a taxi outside.
According Delawareonline.com, she walked into a WaWa convenience store and pointed a handgun at the cashier and demanded money. An employee was able to see that she had fled in a minivan cab. Authorities were able to locate the cab and talk to the driver. That’s when the news of Paoletti having her 1 year old daughter and friend waiting inside the cab while she robbed the WaWa came to light.
When authorities went to the address where the cab dropped them, they learned the acquaintance, who owns the house where she lives, had no knowledge of what she was doing. A search found Paoletti was in possession of an undisclosed amount of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
She was charged with first-degree robbery, endangering the welfare of a child, cocaine possession and drug paraphernalia possession.
Great mothering skills.
