The ESPN NFL Countdown crew paid tribute to their former host and colleague Stuart Scott in an emotional Super Bowl segment on Sunday.
Suzy Kolber, a longtime mainstay at the network, talked about their 20-year relationship which went well beyond the cameras.
At one point, Trent Dilfer said “and Suzy, he loved you. Loved you like a sister.”
Suzy spent most of the segment fighting back tears but continued on. .
“So what will I miss the most? He was universally known for his hugs? Strong, meaningful and filled with love.”
