Senior guard Chris Jones has be suspended by the Louisville Cardinals for violating team rules and could miss more than just Wednesday game verses Syracuse. Coach Rick Pitino said that the suspension was unrelated to basketball and that he was unsure of how much time Jones would miss.

Jones has overcome being bench earlier this season, had regained his starting spot and has been playing well for the Cardinals. Jones is averaging 13.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and a team high 3.7 assists per game but the Cardinals will need players to step up while Jones is out to improve their 20-5 record.
