Apparently a bunch of former NFL players get together weekly for bowling night. This week was a little different, however, as TMZ reports.
A bunch of former NFL stars — a lot of ’em from Da U — got together for their weekly bowling night on Wednesday … but this week had a hip hop twist. Benzino from “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta” hosted, and rapper N.O.R.E. threw 10 frames too.
These weren’t scrubs showing up for the event, either. Larry Johnson was there, the great tackle Bryant McKinnnie, and even RB Edgerrin James whose name I haven’t heard mentioned in years. Other attendee’s include Willis McGahee, David Clowney, and Phillip Buchanon.
Those are a lot of guys representing the U, and it’s nice to see that brotherhood bond doesn’t go away just because your playing days are over.
In total, a very random group for Benzino and N.O.R.E. to call friends. Looks like it was fun though, and hopefully they raised a lot of money for charity.
