Jadeveon Clowney was plagued by injuries his rookie season in the NFL, so the hope would be that Clowney could start seeing a silver lining this offseason. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case. It is being reported that Clowney was bitten by his teammate’s, DJ Swearinger, pit bull.
Police records obtained describe a bite to Clowney’s right arm that sent him to a Pearland emergency room.
Swearinger’s dog broke the skin on the right arm of Clowney with the bite according to the report. Further investigation by the agency indicated the dog’s vaccinations are good until early April.
Thankfully for Clowney, the injury wasn’t too serious and he didn’t require serious medical attention. Swearinger’s pit bull has been quarantined in accordance to the laws in Pearland, and no one seems to have anything further to say on the matter, including the Texans.
