The Warriors will be without All-Star SG Klay Thompson for the next 10 days due to a sprained ankle. Head Coach Steve Kerr already came under fire last week for resting his starters in a game against the Denver Nuggets, in which Kerr actually responded to emails from fans who said they drove a long distance to see Steph Curry. Now it appears Kerr might have been right all along in giving his players rest. The Golden State Warriors have the best record in the NBA at 53-13, but they are still only .5 game ahead of the Hawks for home court advantage through out the entire playoffs, and the Warriors will play the Hawks while Thompson is out over the next 10 days
