Juan Manuel Marquez hasn’t stepped in the ring in nearly a year.
He is still living off of his huge KO victory over Manny Paqcuiao a few years ago and the 41 year old fighter doesn’t have many big fights being thrown his way. So it isn’t shocking to hear that he is open to fighting Manny Pacquiao for a 5th time if he was to beat Floyd Mayweather.
Marquez’s trainer, Angel Heredia, told BoxingScene.com that they are discussing the possibilities of a 5th fight:
I’d personally rather see a Manny-Floyd rematch than the 5th instalment of Pacuqiao-Marquez. I think boxing fans would agree.
