I would really hate to stand in the batters box and face John Lollar of Murray State, not because of his amazing pitching ability but because of his extremely awkward windup. John Lollar’s weird leg kick serves as a big distraction for a batters making it hard to focus on the pitch. If you waste anytime admiring the way he pitches, you could easily miss his fastball.
Baseball has had a few pitcher with unique leg kicks such as Orlando Hernandez, Bronson Arroyo and Dontrelle Willis but Lollar’s kick is still in a league of its on.
Each of these pitchers have has some success in the big leagues and I wish John Lollar the best.
