Roxanne Chalifoux, a member of top-seeded Villanova’s band, skyrocketed to internet fame when she was caught by broadcast cameras crying while playing her piccolo in the final minutes of Nova’s shocking 71-68 loss to 8th seeded North Carolina State.
Now, Chalifoux has managed to turn her tears to opportunity. Being that she is in a band, what would be better for her than to get to play, live next to some of the greatest musicians playing on a stage right now: The Roots.
