Draymond Green has made waves in the NBA for his ferocious effort night in and night out. Many have already deemed Green an elite defender, but there remains a large population of NBA players that feel he’s overrated. Too many, in fact, to vote for Green for NBA All-Defense, according to one beat writer for the league.
Jason Lloyd found that Green warranted a specific mention as to why he hadn’t received his vote, though.

Of course, there’s going to be a lot of backlash no matter your choice. Lloyd knew what he was doing when he posted his supposed private vote to a public platform. There are a lot of crazy passionate people out there, and writers (along with any public figure) deal with people telling them to commit suicide for their decisions all the time.
It’s got to feel a little different when it come’s from a player’s mother, though, right? Draymond Green’s mom apparently really wasn’t feeling his picks.
She has since deleted the tweet, but what she forgot was that everything lives forever on the internet (remember that, kids). It’ll be interesting to see if Green is asked to speak on this at his next interview..
Stay tuned.
