Unable to work out a longterm deal before or during last season, the Broncos designated Thomas their franchise player, guaranteeing him $12.82 million. Thomas has not signed the contract and has chosen not to report.
I understand both points, but ultimately — skipping OTAs is what every franchised or contract seeking player does when they believe they hold some leverage.
