Melvin Gordon would like to enjoy some of those game gaping holes DeMarco Murray enjoyed running behind the Cowboys offensive line.
The former Wisconsin Badgers running back told the Star-Telegram that he’d be a good fit running behind the best o-line in the business.
“It would be sweet to run behind that line,” said Gordon in recapping his visit with the Cowboys. “That line is strong and smart. I saw Travis on my visit. It would be great. But I’m just excited to see where my next family is going to be.”
Gordon led the nation with 2,587 yards rushing yards last year and he also broke LaDainian Tomlinson’s single-game NCAA record with 408 yards in a game against Nebraska last year.
The Cowboys reportedly have interest in Gordon with the 27th overall pick.
