LG is having their G4 coming out party on April 28th where they will officially announce all specs and price points for their new flagship device. Not like it matters since everything seems to be leaking out the closer it gets to showtime. Well, now we get an idea of the price for the LG G4 and it is not going to be cheap. The LG G4 is reportedly going to cost $825 which is a lot more than the $700 the Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 cost. These are the LG’s main competition with Android and when asked about why the price bump a Korean LG rep said it was due to the genuine leather back and the upgraded camera. The Galaxy has Gorilla Glass and HTC an aluminum body that takes an insane amount of time to make. Yea leather is great but is it worth losing customers to your competition, especially when you’re already late to the party? If LG wants their flagship device to compete with the likes of Samsung and even HTC they have to bring that prince point to a more reasonable level. We shall see when they officially announce everything on April 28.
