With the NFL draft is just four days, Todd Gurley is showing off his healthy knee. Gurley is expected to be one of the top running backs drafted but his stock has been up and down for the past few months due to the uncertainty of his knee. Gurley posted on his Instagram account earlier this week a short video with the caption “Still got a little bit of speed”.
On April 2, Gurley shared some comments during his appearance on Sirius XM NFL Radio with Alex Marvez and Gil Brandt.
“I’m feeling pretty good; the recovery is going good. I’ve been starting to run and do like backpedaling and stuff like that. It’s been going pretty good; it’s going smoothly.”
Gurley is one of the players I’m interested in seeing where he is drafted. It’s clear he is high first round quality but the fact that he is a running back and has had knee injuries means he could slide if the draft. Running backs aren’t drafted as high now-a-days as they were in the past. A really good team maybe able to steal Gurley late in the first round.
