LeSean McCoy has been very vocal about Chip Kelly since being traded to the Bills – implying that the Eagles head coach’s decisions about which players he got rid of and/or let stay in Philly were racially motivated. Kelly recently refuted McCoy’s claim saying that he isn’t racist and even noted that he’d tried to talk to LeSean about things, but his calls went unanswered or returned.
At a press conference Thursday at the Eagles’ OTAs, Kelly indicated he had twice contacted McCoy, but the tailback “didn’t accept my call,” per John Gonzalez of CSNPhilly.com.
If I felt the way McCoy does, I probably wouldn’t answer either. Now it’s time for both sides to move on and focus on the upcoming season.
