While the cleared charges will increase Rice’s chances of landing another NFL job, possibly this season; he still needs a team to deem he’s worth the extra press that will surely accompany his arrival.
That, coupled with the fact that he’s now 28 at a position flush with talented players will be looming until he actually signs.
On the positive side, his playoff experience will always be a selling point for his return, and this development in his domestic violence case will make the potential suitor’s backlash that will undoubtedly be received, a bit lighter.
