It’s looking like Taj Gibson may avoid suspension after all.
After Cavaliers Matthew Dellavedova fell to the floor last game, Gibson’s leg became entangled in his and it appeared the Bulls forward attempted to kick his backside. Gibson was assessed a flagrant-2 which results in an ejection and a suspension from the League.
Admittedly, it looked bad at first.
However,
According to CBS Sports’ Ken Berger, there’s a “strong belief” that Gibson’s foul will be downgraded upon league office review.
Gibson doesn’t deserve to be suspended for this. He simply felt another man’s leg wrapped around his own and wanted that creepy feeling gone. Just look at the way he kicks in slow motion.
Hopefully the NBA ultimately makes the right decision and rescinds the flagrant-2.
