The original details of the Jon Jones hit and run case were pretty damning for the former UFC champion but like many sports crimes, the video for the incident makes it that much worse.
The video takes us through the initial 911 call, interviews with the victims of the car crash, and the cops searching the vacated vehicle. Towards the end the cops put two-and-two together and establish that the car belongs to Jones, which then spurs an interesting conversation between police officers. During that conversation one of the cops says, “I bet you it’s his (Jones) car. Well, he’s fucked. That’s him dude. He almost f*cking killed both these people. I wouldn’t want to get in a 32 with him, I’d just f*cking tase him.”
Then you can here that same officer ask his partner where the pipe is at? That pipe is the reported marijuana paraphernalia found in the car by the officers.
This doesn’t seem like the break Jones was hoping for and only puts him further away from returning to the UFC.
