In perhaps the ultimate twist of irony and rising concerns into the lax security at the Dannemora, NY prison, where two men, David Sweat and Richard Matt escaped on foot, video footage gives us a glimpse of poor security measures first-hand.
Fox News was reporting live from the now infamous prison and if you look close on the right side of the screen at the prison, you’ll see a man (or a woman, which details tell us is more than likely the case) sling a duffle bag up the wall with rope.
Now, I’m not sure what kinda standard practice this is and how it’s at all safe, but it’s quite sketchy to have anything brought into a prison very pulley system behind a wall.
The two men, one of which was convicted of murdering and dismembering his former boss, are still on the run and have not been seen anywhere. This may be a real life Shawshank afterall…
