Kevin Love owes it to himself, to listen to the pitch that potential suitors are offering him in free agency. Love has to decide if he wants to be a $100 million role player, or if he really can live with taking less money or a featured role?
Marc Stein of ESPN.com is reporting that the Portland Trail Blazers will jump into the Kevin Love sweepstakes, if LaMarcus Aldridge decides to sign elsewhere.
Sources say that the Portland Trail Blazers, furthermore, are likely to pursue the former Oregon high school star in the event that LaMarcus Aldridge — as many league executives expect — flees the Blazers in free agency.
Love went to high school in Oregon, and would have a prominent role, teaming with Damian Lillard. The Eastern Conference could be Love’s easiest route to a title, but it would likely have to be as a member of the Cavs.
