Steph Curry started the season as one of the more likable players in the league and he’s grown into a bona fide star. After being crowned the MVP of the regular season and helping lead his Golden State Warriors team to a championship title, Curry’s stock is at an all time high.
The NBA began auctioning off the Warriors’ NBA Finals jerseys this week and fans have been willing to go deep in their pockets to get a piece of history. Steph Curry’s Game 1 white jersey has received the highest bid and was sold for $22,242. Curry fan base is incredible, although Andre Iguodala won the Finals MVP, his jersey was sold for only $6,410.
The Game 3 road blue jerseys won’t be sold until Tuesday but Curry’s jersey already has a $15,370 price tag on it. I guess it really cost to have a part of history.
