Jennifer Lopez and Academy Award Nominee, Viola Davis, team up in Lila & Eve where Viola Davis plays Lila, a mother whose son was killed in a drive by shooting meeting J Lo’s Eve at a support group. When the cops don’t show enough interest in solving the murder of her son Lila is convinced by Eve to take matters into her own hands and together they try to solve the case.
This looks like one of those films that surprise you with acting. Viola Davis is an exceptional actor but J Lo looks like she’s going for it here. It looks like a good watch.
