This guy must have been planning his stunt for months, because he pulled flawlessly pulled it off, eluding stadium officials as well.
Justin Buchanan, 19, ran onto the field at last night’s Cubs-Reds game — filming himself via selfie cam the entire time.
Buchanan then tried to say hi to Billy Hamilton — before hopping the centerfield wall and disappearing. The next time anyone heard from Buchanan, he was two hours away at home in Noblesville, Indiana.
“I actually googled on the way to the game, ‘consequences of getting caught,’” he told ABC 6 Indianapolis. He even warned his mother.
My mom, when I texted her about it, she asked if I was ready to be escorted out of the game,” Buchanan said. “And I told her that it’d be fine. She actually told me if I got in trouble, my car money’s for bail.”
So much happening while fan ran onto field at GABP. Fans loving it. Ump trying to hide his laughter. #Reds pic.twitter.com/S49XnerCV0
