People of California, be on the look out for a serial bank robber who despite being a California resident is a Miami Heat AND Dallas Cowboys fan.
I guess despite having several rooting options in California he would rather taking his rooting interests to the Heat and Cowboys.
The robber rocked both Cowboys and Heat gear as he subtly asked bank teller to hand over the cash without dye packs at two bank branches.
Here are the details of the robberies from Busted Coverage:
A man, between 25 and 30, about 5-feet, 11-inches and 150-pounds walked into the bank wearing a black sweater, blue jeans and black Miami Heat cap with an orange bill, Orange police Lt. Phil Casto said.
“He entered the bank and handed a note to teller,” Casto said.
The note demanded the teller give him “100s & 50s,” said Laura Eimiller, a FBI spokesperson.
Second robbery:
Santa Ana police described a man between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall wearing dark-rimmed glasses, a black T-shirt and this time a blue Dallas Cowboys cap.
Authorities said he approached a teller and handed the employee “a note which indicated he was robbing the bank,” Eimiller said.
“The note also read, ‘I have a gun, no dye packs,’” Eimiller said.
I wonder what team this guy will break out next on his next robbery.
In all seriousness, this guy needs to be stopped. We can’t have bandwagon sports fans out here robbing banks in their spare time.
