Eli Manning is disputing reports about the size of the contract he desires.
The Giants quarterback vehemently denied a report circulating around the league, that claims Manning wants to be the games highest paid player.
Asked today if that report is true, Manning said, “No. That’s never come out of my mouth. I’ve never said it to my agent.”

Manning said that the reports made his father, NFL great Archie Manning, upset.
Eli said that when the report came out he got a voicemail from a very upset Archie Manning.

Manning has two Super Bowls, and has earned the right to want to be paid like some of the better players at his position in the league.
If the Giants franchise Manning, he’ll be paid $25 million — in accordance with the best players in the game.
