Legendary music manager Jerry Heller has a lot of regrets from his days managing NWA, his biggest gaffe may be the time he talked Eazy-E out of having Suge Knight killed.
Heller — who described Suge as “a $70 a day bodyguard at Ruthless,” says he never would have thought that knight could come between his relationship with Dr. Dre — explaining before Suge stepped in the situation, “he and Dre were really close.
According to Heller, he just walked in on a conversation Eazy was having with an associate about having Knight killed.
Heller says he used “logic” to talk Eazy out of the plot, but revealed that he should have let Eazy carry out the killing.
