According Max Berman of Fox Sports 26, The New Orleans Pelicans are interested signing Jason Terry.
Terry who’s entering his 17th upcoming season is still drawing interest for his three point shooting and savvy veteran presence, which was evident in last year NBA Playoffs helping the Houston Rockets to Western Conference Finals.
After Patrick Beverley was out for the season due to a hand injury, Terry stepped into the starting line up and kept spacing on the floor with his shooting prowess being the beneficiary of playing with Rockets superstar James Harden.
The Pelicans are a young team lacking veterans and consisting shooting.
First year Pelicans Coach Alvin Gentry could use Terry’s services especially with his current guards Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans being injury prone.
