After Steph Curry’s MVP run, there’s been people giving him the crown as the best shooter to ever live. Larry Bird and Ray Allen may disagree, but Curry does provide a strong argument.
First of all, Curry broke Ray Allen’s for most threes made in a season two years ago and he ended up breaking his own record this past season, after making 286 threes.
However, Curry doesn’t believe he’s in the discussion right now.
10 years. That’s enough time to, enough body of work, for you to really assess consistency and the sheer repetitions and amount of shots that you’re making. So, I’ve got three more good years left until I think I get into that conversation.
You have to love Curry’s humbleness, but I believe he’s the best shooter ever. The association has seen a plethora of dead eye shooters, however, what separates Curry is his ability to shoot off the dribble.
