It appears everyone — of importance in the Vanderbilt football program was asleep this morning — when this ill-advised tweet promoting their vision and culture backfired.

The tweet was quickly deleted, and the school received harsh criticism for being insensitive months after two former Vanderbilt football players were found guilty of rape on campus.
The programs official twitter page then apologized for the mistake.
We apologize for today’s tweet. It’s not a comment about sexual assault. Sex without permission is always wrong and not accepted. (1/2)
