Night of Champions is just a few days away (check out our in-depth preview here) and WWE has put together an incredibly rare card. The folks over at Rukkus Blog put together an interesting infograph highlighting some of the rarities that we could be witnessing this Sunday. WWE has had 312 pay-per-views since 1988, and Seth Rollins will become only the 7th man ever to have two singles matches (not counting the King of the Ring tournament) in one night. Rollins will join Goldust and Chris Jericho as the only superstars to have two title matches for two completely separate titles in the same night.
Speaking of Rollins, his opponent for the WWE title has an opportunity to make some history of his own. With a title win on Sunday night, 56-year-old Sting could become the oldest WWE Champion in the history of the company. Even more interesting is who Sting would be surpassing as the oldest Champ of all time, none other than Vincent Kennedy McMahon, who held the title at 54-years-old.
Check out the infograph below for more interesting NoC tidbits. Needless to say, there are some pretty rare occurences that could go down this Sunday, so tune into the WWE Network and check out Night of Champions! At the very least, you’ll get to watch Seth Rollins put on two great matches.
