Kevin Gates is now being charged with Battery after kicking a female fan at his show for touching him.

Lakeland Police Department has charged the Louisiana-based Gates, also known as Kevin Jerome Gilyard, with battery, according to a complaint affidavit filed Tuesday.
The severity of the kick caused Miranda Dixon to lose her breath and fall backwards into he crowd. She was reported to be dazed and was helped by concerned audience members. Dixon reported the incident to authorities and sought medical treatment after leaving the concert.
Including the cellphone video that appeared across YouTube and WorldStar, LPD obtained surveillance footage from Rumors nightclub which has also been placed into evidence.
LPD reported that Dixon intends to press charges against Gates.

He should be charged because that kick was way over the top. He could have had her escorted out or something. All she did was touch him, which is what most fans do when they’re first row at a concert. He does a lot of crazy things, but this incident he deserves to pay for.
