With Roethlisberger out, Mike Vick is now in charge of the Steelers offense and with him starting his first full game since playing for the Jets, Vick is looking to just be himself on the field and not allow the pressure to get to him.
“I didn’t think at 35 I’d still be as quick as I am,” Vick told reporters in the locker room after the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Tuesday’s practice (via Jeremy Fowler of ESPN). “I can still move a little bit.”
“Be myself, have fun, play to win.”
Thats probably the best thing for Vick to do. Vick is a veteran in the game and knows how to win. The Steelers head to Baltimore for their Thursday night game. Vick has the chance to shine and make history by giving the Ravens their 4th consecutive loss of the season. Hopefully, Steeler fans will give Vick the chance to adjust with this new offense and allow him to find his strengths before calling for his head.
