After an ugly loss to the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday, Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Chip Kelly got some good news on his star linebacker Kiko Alonso.
Kelly confirmed that Alonso only suffered a sprain and could play in Week 3 against the 2-0 New York Jets.
Reports of Alonso tearing his ACL again surfaced after suffering a knee injury against the Cowboys, in which he did not return.
Alonso was acquired in the LeSean McCoy trade this past off season, though he missed the 2014 season with a torn ACL.
Kelly and the Eagles have yet to clear Alonso, hopefully he will be available in what seems like a must win game for the 0-2 Eagles.
