The Giants want an extension worked out with Eli Manning before his season starts, and Adam Schefter is reporting that Manning is expected to sign an extension for more than $20 million per season.

Manning will make $17 million this season and count $19.75 million against the salary cap. The Giants have made it clear they want to keep the quarterback, who has led them to a pair of Super Bowl championships and is coming off one of his best statistical seasons in his career.
