DeAngelo Williams is finding a different way to help those women in need and help raise more awareness for breast cancer.
When athletes do things to honor those less fortunate, it just fills our heart with joy because of the way that they give back. October is also known as Breast Cancer Awareness month and Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams is honoring his late mother in a different way.
Sadly, Williams’ mother passed away from breast cancer at the age of 53. In turn, he is going to pay for 53 mammograms. 53 women will be able to get screenings and be in the know when it comes to their health.
