Lets all slow-clap for the city of Kansas City, which despite having one of the longest championship droughts ever, celebrated a World Series clincher with quiet dignity.
In what can only be described as shocking — a rep for the KC Police Department told TMZ that there were “zero” World Series-related arrests after the Royals won the crown
Last season after the Giants won — there were 40 total arrests, 9 police cars damaged, 3 officers injured and 2 people shot.
“There were no fights, no damage, no arrests in relation to the celebration. Everyone had a good time. A successful night for the Royals and the community of Kansas City Missouri.
All hail the Royals and their fans.
