The first weekend of the NBA regular season is officially in the books, and first impressions have been made—both positive and negative—by all 30 teams involved in the league.
Six undefeated teams enter Week 2 unscathed as the Toronto Raptors and Detroit Pistons represent the Eastern Conference with perfect 3-0 records. In the Western Conference three NBA title contenders, the Los Angeles Clippers, Oklahoma City Thunder and the defending champion Golden State Warriors have 3-0 records with the upstart Minnesota Timberwolves building towards something big, starting 2-0.
As with all sports, there are winners and losers and nine teams did not record a win over the league’s opening weekend. In the group of nine, the Houston Rockets, New Orleans Pelicans and Milwaukee Bucks are the most surprising, as each team was expected to either make or at least make a push towards a postseason spot.
Luckily for all teams it’s early in the season and another week of scheduled games should bring even more clarity towards the standings. With information provided by TiqIQ.com, below are the most expensive secondary market NBA tickets this week.

Fans are obviously excited that the New York Knicks have put together a roster that is actually watchable on an NBA court. After last year’s debacle of a season and a 2-1 start in the first three games, the fans’ enthusiasm is showing off early as the Knicks are in two of the top-three spots for this week’s most expensive games. The Knicks play the Lakers on November 8th with an average ticket price of $356.36 and a get-in price of $101 and the San Antonio Spurs on November 2nd with an average ticket price of $300.86 with a get-in price of $83.
Knicks fans outside of the tri-state metro area looking to attend a game early in the season can use Hipmunk.com for New York flight deals, which pairs well with any New York hotel on Hipmunk to watch the Knicks be competitive once again.
The Knicks want a night like the Warriors will be having on November 4th, as fans will be treated with replica NBA championship rings upon entrance into Oracle Arena. In the second most expensive game of the week, the Warriors host the Clippers with an average ticket price of $305.31 and a get-in price of $100. The Warriors are also involved in the fourth most expensive game of the week but as the road team, being hosted by the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night at Sleep Train Arena.
