The no.5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish kept their playoff hopes alive today, after defeating Pittsburgh 42-30 on the road. However, it didn’t come without some concerning news.
Source tells Irish Illustrated that C.J. Prosise suffered a concussion and potentially a shoulder injury as well.

Prosise is Notre Dame’s leading rushing with 947 yards to go along with 11 touchdowns on the ground. In his absence, Josh Adams rushed for 147 yards on 20 carries.
